Little Munchkins Hideout gives your preschooler the kindergarten experience. We try to set a foundation for kindergarten in a hands-on, fun way. We do everything from circle time to kids yoga. We teach them to participate during circle time and how to be part of the discussion by raising your hand and waiting for the teacher to call their name. The children participate in a show and tell time that encourages them to stand up and present to their friends the item they would like to share. This helps to build confidence. Staff will encourage the kids to be responsible for their personal belongings (i.e. jackets, hats, gloves, etc). The children will be coached to hang up their belongings in a cubby that will be labeled with their names just like in school. Our staff will promote routine for the children throughout the day, children strive with routine as it eases their mind in what they have to do next.
